There is no presidential primary in Colorado. Like Iowa, Colorado is a caucus state in which Colorado's registered Democrats will attend their precinct caucuses to choose who will receive Colorado's delegates to the 2008 Democratic national convention in Denver Colorado. You must be a registered Democrat.

The most important thing you can do in Colorado to work for real change and win delegates for Dennis Kucinich is to attend the Democratic Precinct Caucuses on February 5th 2008. From now until then we need to push caucus participation for Kucinich. Help us promote Kucinich awareness in your area by team hosting a Kucinich House Party. Contact us to host party and we will help you advertise and host the event.

We need you to grab some fellow Kucinich supporters and turn out to your precinct caucus on Tuesday February 5th 2008. The more Kucinich supporters who turn out and vote for Dennis the more delegates Kucinich can win in Colorado. We will be glad to come to your community and help you host a Kucinich house party.

Party Platform
The precinct caucus also provides the opportunity to submit resolutions to the Colorado Democratic Platform. It is VERY important for you to bring your resolutions IN WRITING to the caucus.
The Colorado Democratic party currently has a great progressive platform, that calls for impeachment, withdrawal from Iraq, and universal health care. Download a PDF of the platform. We support keeping the current platform with additions or deletions where necessary and appropriate. Come to your precinct caucus with your resolutions printed and ready to present. Choose Candidates for Other Offices
At the caucus will also get a chance to choose candidates from other contested races, such as Federal and State Senator, Congress, county clerk, and so on in your precinct ballot.
